Pembina Gorge State Recreation Area Trailhead
Pembina is a popular spot for North Dakota residents due to its breathtaking views. These trails wind through a beautiful forest and give you picturesque scenes of the Three Sister Hills. There is an abundance of trails, made up of hard-packed dirt that makes this spot perfect for beginners.
Turtle River Motocross Park
It can be a lot of fun taking an off-roading trip with your friends and family. However, it can be difficult to find a park with trails that meet everyone’s preferences. However, Turtle River Motocross Park is well known for its many trails of varying difficulty levels. No matter how big your party is, or what their experience level may be, you can find what you’re looking for here!
Intermediate to Expert
If you’ve had a bit more experience driving your off-road vehicles some of the recommendations above may not sound all that interesting. Don’t worry! We’ve got some great spots in our list for those of you who want to tear up trails and get your adrenaline pumping!
Roughrider OHV Trail
The Roughrider OHV Trail is the most popular spot on our list. Trails are generally made up of gravel and loose dirt and include unique challenges such as water crossings and slopes. Even better, almost all off-roading vehicles are permitted to drive these trails and they are completely free to the public! Just be sure to check out the park’s list of rules before hitting the trails.
Deep Creek Adventures
Deep Creek Adventures offers trails for every experience level in its 8,000-acre park. However, this park has gained notoriety among experts due to its wide array of terrain and trail types. This park spans deserts, prairies, and summits, pushing riders to test their skills across terrain they may not be familiar with.
